I’d give RG Construction 100 stars if I could! Matt and his team were phenomenal. Incredibly professional, communicative, and efficient. We hired them to update our old, crusty carpet stairs to hardwood. They found a material that matched the existing floors in our house and completed everything in two days. The work speaks for itself! I 100% recommend their outfit for any home improvement work and will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Huge props to Matt and his team!

Owner's reply
Colin Brindle, it was a pleasure transforming those stairs. I will certainly pass your kind compliments to Matt and the crew. We look forward to partnering with you again soon!

We had a great experience! We got several quotes to repair/upgrade our garage, which needed new siding, a new door, and drainage work to keep rain out. Matt at RG Construction Services presented a great plan that covered everything we needed and didn't add on a bunch of extra work. The crew was friendly and professional and finished the job in lightning speed--two days later we're organizing a new and functional space. We're really pleased and are already working on lining up another project with them!

Owner's reply
Monika, we are thrilled Matt and the crew delivered such a fast, seamless garage transformation with the siding, door, and drainage work. We look forward to helping with your next project!

RG offers a complete remodeling package including project design, permitting, interior design, and construction. At each step along the way we worked with a motivated team focused on making our remolding project successful. Communication and problem solving were at the forefront. The construction team was very accommodating and thoughtful of our need to stay in the house during the project. Their construction team is comprised of skilled and capable professionals. We had a great experience and recommend RG wholeheartedly.

Owner's reply
Thank you so much for the kind review. You were a pleasure to work with and your house looks great! We wish you many happy and healthy years there!

We had RG Pro Builders design and build an ADU for my mom a few years ago. Selling the property now, did a pre home inspection and had a few issues come up with the ADU, we contacted the owner Richard and without hesitation he had his team out to go over everything. RG took care of the repairs without question, made everything right and the work was fantastic. Couldn't have ask for more, we will be working with RG again at our new residence in Arizona.

Owner's reply
It’s great to hear that Richard and the RG Pro Builders team delivered exceptional service with your mom's ADU. Your decision to work with us again in Arizona is appreciated, and we look forward to your next project!

RG has now completed two large projects for me, a new 800sqft ADU (completed Dec 2024), and a +3000sqft renovation (completed Dec 2025). If I have any projects in the future, Richard and his team at RG are my first choice (and should be yours too).

For both projects, they managed every part with professionalism and expertise. Betsy and Hannah helped us design our new spaces within budget and soooo beautifully (thank you). The finishes Betsy and team chose for our spaces are high quality (not “builder-grade” junk). Nate was an excellent super, along with Ethan and the rest of his crew, managing each sub with professionalism ensuring they completed on time and the highest quality. Larry stepped in when any problems arose (remodeling a 100 year old house means you’re inevitably going to discover issues), handling each issues with our best interest (and budget) in mind. Both projects were finished on time (ADU was a month early), permitted without pushback, and within budget.

RG was honest with their pricing through both projects. They didn’t land the projects with a low bid and then change order us up; they delivered exactly what they quoted.

Go with RG if you want honesty, professionalism and high quality construction at a competitive price.

The home renovation that they completed is hard to believe that our 100 year old cottage turned into such a beautiful new home (see pictures).

Thank you again RG team for being so great to work with this past 1.5 years. We’ll miss you, but it’s time for you to get out of our houses 😜

Owner's reply

It captures everything we strive for and thank you too for being a great and very reasonable client to work with - like you said especially in older homes construction things happen! And its a pleasure and honor to work with clients like you! We are happy to give you some "breathing room" now for the Holidays- enjoy your lovely new space and we'll be ready when you are for the next project!! 😀

We cannot say enough great things about RG Construction! After hiring another contractor who completely botched our bathroom remodel, we were feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Thankfully, we found RG Construction, and they absolutely saved the day.

From the very beginning, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making things right. They took the time to fix the previous issues and transformed our bathroom into something beautiful. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.

What started as a stressful situation turned into a wonderful experience, and we are beyond grateful for the incredible job they did. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust, we highly recommend RG Construction. Thank you for giving us the bathroom we originally dreamed of!

We worked with RG ProBuilders through the design phase of our ADU project and had a great experience. The process was organized, professional, and they were always willing to answer questions and help us think through options. A special thank you to Hannah, Betsy, and Nathan, who were all fantastic to work with—knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us create a design that fit our needs. We really appreciated the time, expertise, and care they brought to the process. Highly recommended!

Owner's reply

These guys are the real deal. Some eight years ago, we bought a home in Battle Ground. We were living in another state and I was still working full time, preparing to retire. We hired this company because they had been my brother's contractor (he lives next door). In turn, incidentally, he had been recommended to my brother by an ex-coworker. All had been very happy. The house needed a total interior remodel, having been untouched since 1981. We chose the flooring, countertops, carpets and from time to time things like light fixtures. We paid him and signed a "Platinum Contract," which guarantees their work for ten years. We stayed out of town and he was left to remodel the house. Richard said he wanted to do a reveal of the house like they do on television, so in August of that year, we flew in and we did just that. And we loved it! It is the most wonderful house either of us has ever lived in. We absolutely love it! And Richard says he had a lot of fun with it. Win win.

So what about the 10 year contract? True to his word, Richard has taken care of several issues over the years. These things are inevitable over 10 years. And Richard has always been responsive. Just today, one of his employees came over and fixed some laminated flooring that had some problems. He is always cheerful and kind. We would heartily recommend him. He stands behind his work 100%

We had a great experience with RG in a new construction of an ADU in my backyard for my parent. Great communication overall, very friendly and accommodating staff, flexible to meet our needs, rapidly addressed any concerns/issues, and (once the permits were done) very quick and beautiful work! My parent and I are both very happy and would be happy to work with RG on other projects in the future. Staff also included very kind touches along the way, including a final gift basket which was very thoughtful and directly tailored to our family.

Owner's reply
Thank you Kit for the great review! You also were wonderful to work with - we appreciate great clients like you! Best wishes to you all

We’ve had several contractors over the years for different projects, ranging from small to medium. Most of these turned out to be negative experiences, and we’re pretty pessimistic anymore when engaging with companies for projects like this.

We engaged with RG Probuilders just over a year ago to create a small space on our property where my Mom could live as she ages. We were unable to finish the project and recently had to cancel the engagement due to family circumstances changing.

However, we’ve never had a better experience. RG has a defined process for success, and it simply works. From the initial consultation, to the design phase, to the project getting off of the ground, RG was a trusted advisor throughout the entire process.

- Initial consultation was friendly, they asked a lot of questions and really worked to understand our needs and how best to meet them.

- Design phase and team – were fantastic throughout, and incredibly knowledgeable. They were patient with us as we worked through this phase and even changed the plan at one point once property maps and constraints became clear.

- Final presentation and walk through of options – included pros and cons, the team was there to guide us, again as trusted advisors and partners in the project, as if it were a personal project for their own team.

When we signed on to the final plans and they began the work with the county they were incredibly communicative, including for long periods of time when the county was silent and doing their work in the background. They handled everything, from required community meetings/feedback to soil testing, etc.

All of the above was what you should expect from a contractor, and they delivered above and beyond. But the real surprise came recently when we had to cancel the project. Without being asked they did what they could to alleviate the financial burden of the work that had been done, including taking the long-shot opportunity to request refunds from the county. They took these steps, on their own behalf, without being asked. It has been a very long time, if ever, that I have worked with a company that treats you as a human being and shows care for the work they do, as well as the customer that they do the work for. You would be remiss to use anyone else for your next construction project.

Owner's reply
Wow Don! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We truly are so sorry for the circumstances changing for your family and wish you all the best forward!!

We used RG construction to build an approximately 1800 SF horse barn on our property. They took the concept from design and budget to building it and everything in between. The stress of the project was very low for me. I was in constant contact with the superintendent and he was present on the jobsite daily. Communication was very good. Overall I am pleased with the end result, the cost, and just my overall experience. They continue to respond to questions I have and stand by their work 100%. Would definitely use them again.

Update: we used RG construction a second time for a kitchen remodel and some other improvements to our house incl laundry room relocation, flooring, and reside/paint all at the same time. Very smooth process and excellent communication. There were some hiccups but each issue was fully addressed and the team communicated well. When someone is in your house for months working and receiving large amounts of money from you, you want to feel like every detail is being communicated because that’s your money and your investment in your home. Also each day work continues is a day you’re not in your home. I felt good about the communication (and transparency) throughout the process. And of course the workmanship and end result was to my standards and in many ways exceeded my expectations. Already planning for a third project with Richard and the team! Definitely would recommend.

Owner's reply
Thank you Tyler for the review and your beautiful barn was one of our favorites! You were great to work with as well!

After talking with several contractors in this daunting pursuit of building my ADU, I chose RG Construction Services, LLC because they handled every aspects of the build from giving me a price range to chose from for the ADU itself, an estimate of the extra cost that may be incurred during the process, handling the permitting process with the city, hiring other tradesman, scheduling, building, helping with design and communication with me throughout the process including scheduled payment as the build progressed. I had a great design team that listened and open to what I wanted/needed in my ADU once I chose my basic home design/size and a contact person I could call with questions (Hannah, Krista, Betsey, Allison, Andrea, Linnea). Once the city gave its approval several months down the road, I had a great supervisor to work with (Brandon) who made sure we talked or texted daily and I understood what to expect as the build proceeded! This was a long and learning process but the results and cost was worth it, thanks to the rest of the team including Richard, Ronald, Sergio, Nick, Roza, Erik and anyone I did not name!
RJ Smith, Very Satisfied Customer
